  • 6 single subject marble copybooks ( NO SPIRALS)

  • 1 journal either personalized or a marble copybook

  • 1 protractor ( no compass)

  • ( 1 grid graphing copybook ( no perforated pages)

  • 3 pocket folders: one to be handed in to homeroom teacher as test folder

  • 2 packets of loose-leaf paper 10 by 8 – to be replaced as needed

  • 6 #2 pencils with erasers to be restocked as needed throughout  the year

  • 1 small pencil sharpener

  • 6 pens – blue or black ink only – to be replaced as needed

  • 3 pens – red ink

  • 1 ruler – 12 inch with metric marking

  • 1 set of colored pencils for social studies and science class

  • 2 soft pencil cases

  • 1  glue stick and 1 scissors

  • 1 calculator with square root key

  • 1box of disinfecting wipes and 1 box of hand wipes

  • 2 boxes of tissues

 

ALL BOOKS MUST BE COVERED save brown shopping bags over the summer- great for book covers. Due to damage to textbooks, book sox are not permitted.

NO BINDERS may be brought to school. Binders are too bulky and take up too much space both in the student’s bags and the classroom.

Please have names, subjects and grade on all books and test folder. Please be sure that all supplies, coats, sweaters, bookbags, etc. are labeled with the student’s name.

Homework copybook $4.00                                 

Departmental bag if needed:$8.00. Students may continue to use last year’s bag if it is in clean and good condition.

Communication folder if needed: $3.00. Students may continue to use last year’s folder –good condition.

             

ART SUPPLIES

 

  • Plastic container with lock lid, shoebox size marked: NAME, GRADE, AND ART KIT

  • Drawing/sketching pencils: HB, 2B, 4B --sharpened

  • White “plastic eraser” (e.g. HiPolymer eraser  or Staedtler Mars)

  • Crayola crayons –24 count pack

  • Crayola markers – thick not thin ( NOT WASHABLE)

  • Colored pencils – 24 count pack

  • 2 glue sticks, scissors

  • Tortillions ( paper stumps for shading )

  • Pelikan  or Yarka Brand 12-24 Watercolor Paint Box

  • Watercolor pad ( 90lb. Weight)

  • 2 black ballpoint pens

  •  metallic glitter colored pencils can be brought in, along with a colorless blender

  • All supplies can be purchased at Michael’s or A.C.Moore. Check for coupons online and in the paper.

  • The box will travel on from grade to grade, or in the case of eighth graders can be used to replenish the boxes of younger siblings.
